The Mission Self Advocacy Group is made up of people with intellectual disabilities in the Mission district area. Our name does not let others know who we are. We believe that we can all be a part of making Mission a better community for all.
Self Advocates with intellectual disabilities are people who speak up about their rights and the rights of their peers. We believe that there is power in numbers. The more we stand up together, the more the public will want to understand us better.
